National Innovation Games – NT Series

The National Innovation Games, funded by the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources, are hosting inclusive innovation challenges across Australia.

The vision is to bring small to medium-size businesses, industry and researchers together focusing on real-world issues to create added sustainable business practices.

The NT series commenced in March 2021 with a strong focus on ‘Territorians discovering opportunity in Renewable Energy'. The two completed challenges explored:

  • Challenge 1: How might you use technology to assist businesses to better understand what is required to convert to renewables?
  • Challenge 2: How might your business optimise energy use today and in the future?

Due to the COVID-19 lockdown in Victoria, the third in-person challenge has been postponed to Wednesday 8 & Thursday 9 September 2021. The event will be held at the Darwin Innovation Hub and will focus on 'Converting to renewable energy'.

The NT series is proudly sponsored by ISACNT, the Northern Territory Government, National Energy Resources Australia (NERA) and Darwin Innovation Hub.
