Information Technology Industry Workshop

Rapid and fast-paced tech advancements are reshaping IT jobs and the skills needed to succeed as an IT professional.

Supporting 100,000 ICT learners across Australia each year, the vocational education and training (VET) sector is a critical pathway for learners seeking an entry point to get a job in IT or upskill in specialised jobs in IT.

Based off the feedback received by PwC Skills for Australia in extensive national consultations held throughout the year, an innovative re-design of all IT VET qualifications is being proposed.

The redesign aims to have:
- Agility through simplification
- Flexibility at its core
- Intuitive pathway design
- Materials fit for industry purpose
- Authentic engagement with employers

PwC Skills for Australia will be in Darwin early Dec to discuss the re-design with industry. This is a great opportunity to find out more information about how the re-design will improve or impact our NT learners.
