Accelerating capability in the NT

“The Territory is extraordinarily interesting. It’s cosmopolitan, remote and strikes an emotional connection for Australians. It’s full of drama. Big swashbuckling projects, its history, its weather, the complex challenges. And, it’s brimming with potential, aspiration, energy and youth.” Bernard Salt AM

ISACNT, the Northern Territory Government and Charles Darwin University host an online event with one of Australia’s leading social commentators, and former Chairman of the Tourism Forecasting Committee at Tourism Australia, Bernard Salt AM.

Bernard is one of the most quoted and widely-read social commentators in Australia. His books, columns and corporate presentations are followed by all levels of business and government as well as by many people within the broader community. His observations and insights are always evolving. We asked Bernard to focus his lens on the Northern Territory to consider what economic recovery looks like over the next 12 months, the information we need, the roles we have to play, and the steps we take together.

The online event is on Thursday, 3rd of December from 9.00 am until 12 noon (Northern Territory time) and includes a Q and A session with Bernard.

Training providers. Workforce developers. Capability builders. Those with the responsibility of supplying appropriately skilled people to satisfy the demand. Those who dream big for economic recovery and a prosperous future for the NT. If your passion is the Territory, your interest is workforce and skills creation, and you are looking to make sense of the future, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
