I have worked in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) area since 1988.

During this time, I have progressed from a Training Development Officer to my current position as Industry Engagement Officer with the Industry Skills Advisory Council NT.

In my role, I work closely with Northern Territory businesses from the construction, resources and electrotechnology sectors as well as with both the Australian and Northern Territory governments. ISACNT also works closely with other stakeholders such as schools and public and private Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) including Charles Darwin University, Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education, and industry specific RTOs.

The goal of ISACNT is to ensure that our industry sectors have access to a skilled workforce, where and when required.

If you work within the industries I’ve listed above and have any questions or comments on upskilling your workforce, feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn and send me a message so we can discuss this further.

My current employer, the Industry Skills Advisory Council NT (ISACNT), acts as a conduit for information between industry and government at a Territory and national level. ISACNT is an advocate for the Northern Territory in the development of national training packages and national and Territory VET policy and strategy.
