Northern Territory subject matter experts needed for Aged Services

An Industry Reference Committee (IRC) for Aged Services was recently formed. This IRC consists of a group of volunteer aged care experts that strive to enhance training packages within aged services to meet the needs of industry and better skill the workforce.

To support the work of the Aged Services IRC, SkillsIQ are establishing a number of advisory committees.

The aim of these advisory committees is to provide high-level strategic and policy advice to the IRC regarding key areas of the aged services sector, such as:

-Consumer Needs and Expectations
-Residential Care
-Home Care and Community Care
-Indigenous and Remote Services
-Diversity and Inclusion
-Dementia
-Palliative Care
-Mental Health
-Pathways and Tertiary Education
-Nutrition and the Mealtime Experience.

ISACNT want to ensure we have Northern Territory representation on these national committees. Please contact Debbie Knight for further information on how to participate in one of the above committees.
