About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will research workforce participation and skills development initiatives to plan, develop and adapt models to address workforce supply and demand requirements to grow local workforce capacity in the NT in order to address demand requirements of major projects.

The position is Fixed Term 9-12 month project contract.

Salary: $105,000

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in strategic workforce planning and development with substantial project management experience.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of and experience in contemporary research and data analysis and reporting including problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions for the workforce.
  • Proved ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders to ensure positive and effective outcomes.
  • Proved ability to deliver innovative models that support workforce planning and development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently under broad direction and act collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated understanding of political, economic, social and cultural issues impacting rural and remote regions of Northern Australia and its labour market.
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline
  • Current NT driver's license.
